Casa Cucina & Bar
Newly opened Sai Ying Pun spot Casa Cucina is the perfect place to wind down with a cocktail, the three-floor eatery merging a Cicchetti-inspired menu with an inviting Mediterranean feel. “Ginger Me” is a zingy, energising drink made with whiskey, rosemary syrup, ginger and a touch of egg white for a bright cocktail with a creamy mouthfeel. The ginger adds a spicy kick, while the dish is balanced with fragrant rosemary to ground the punchy flavours. The cocktail is representative of the intimate yet vibrant space, evolving throughout the day from a chic coffee joint to a sleek and elegant cocktail destination. The electric and cosy space was created by owner and Executive Chef Anthony Cheung, who previously trained for four years under Richard Ekkebus at Michelin-starred Amber at The Landmark Oriental.

Penicillin Bar
Created in collaboration with and named after Emily Lam Ho’s sustainable platform, 8Shades, Penicillin Bar’s vibrant green cocktail is as environmentally conscious as it is delightful. Comprising plankton, kumquat-yogurt gin, salted coconut, plankton sherbet, the fluorescent drink is made with low carbon footprint, local distilled N.I.P gin, while all ingredients are locally sourced. All of the drink components are mixed together the prior night, allowing the flavours to fuse as one for a smooth meld of salty and sweet to creamy and tangy sensations. Led by Agung Prabowo and Roman Ghale, Penicillin Bar has upped the ante as one of the first truly, closed-loop sustainable bars in Hong Kong. In fact, the bar was awarded a spot on Asia’s Best Bars 2021 while also receiving the coveted Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award for 2021, despite opening just last year.

LPM Restaurant & Bar
Vogue Hong Kong has been given an exclusive preview of LPM’s upcoming cocktail menu inspired by the multi talented French poet, playwright, filmmaker and designer Jean Cocteau. The first to transform the beloved Disney tale of “Beauty and the Beast” into an enchanting and mysterious movie, Jean Cocteau’s masterpiece has been recreated into its very own cocktail at LPM. The lightly sweet and refreshing drink is made up of Ketel One vodka, Saint Germain elderflower liqueur, yellow chartreuse and strawberry and fennel cordial, for a burst of fresh citrus and floral notes. Although certainly lighter than its namesake film, LPM’s cocktail echoes the same captivating allure, telling a story with each sip. Served in LPM’s bright and airy venue in the heart of the city, the cocktail is one of twelve other drinks on the thoughtful and considered menu that pays tribute to an unforgettable icon and talent.
