Hong Kong Fitness + Wellness Expo
The Fitness + Wellness Expo returns to AsiaWorld-Expo for its second year! Operating across six key zones, the two-day extravaganza brings together an exciting host of wellness brands and leading fitness instructors to bring you a wide selection of classes to choose from. Head to the Mainstage for guided yoga and fitness courses with celebrity instructors such as Jumbo Tsang and breathwork master Simon Yuen, or make your way to the Gym Village to try out some of the latest equipment in top gyms across the city. New additions include the first large-scale indoor spinning event led by the beloved Re:Nation studio over at the Spin Stage, and the Dance Stage for sweating it out in style. Le French May Arts Festival
It’s not May without the annual Le French May arts festival! Organised by the Association Culturelle France in Hong Kong, the festival is a two-month long celebration of arts and culture. Celebrating its 30th anniversary through the theme of “PULSARTE” (a hybrid of pulsate and art), Le French May 2023 welcomes over 100 French artists to the city for a riveting series of original programmes made specially for the festival.
This year’s highlights include the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels comprehensive dance program that includes Ola Maciejewska’s performance of the Serpentine Dance by Loïe Fuller, the giant De La Fontaine puppet show over at Tai Kwun, and His Temple, a unique performance inspired by Guy de Maupassant’s Claire de Lune and featuring Hong Kong artists across contemporary dance, music and narration.

Ginsanity Festival 2023

Hong Kong’s biggest gin festival is back! Last held in 2019, Ginsanity returns to the historic PMQ with over 50 vendors showcasing spirits from all across the globe. The event is free to join and not only offers up a great time, but an opportunity for G&T enthusiasts to discover new gins they’ll love through an expansive selection of brands as well as free home delivery. This year also marks the first time the festival will host local Hong Kong gin brands such as N.I.P and Two Moons Distillery.

La Bayadère, The Hong Kong Ballet

The Hong Kong Ballet’s final production for their 2022/2023 season is La Bayadère! A famous 19th century classical ballet that takes place in the enchanting jungles of ancient India, La Bayadère is a star-crossed love story of a temple dancer and a noble warrior who is set to marry another woman. With choreography by the celebrated Vladimir Malakhov, and opulent sets to compliment lavish costumes that exude mystical charm, La Bayadère is not to be missed. There will be five showings in total, with tickets now available for purchase.
