周潤發攜妻子陳薈蓮現身電影節，以一身長版西裝外套現身，而妻子則穿着了一套亮眼的桃紅色雪紡褶襇長裙禮服；他翌日再穿着白色西裝套裝搭配黑色高領上衣出席講談環節。周潤發獲頒發「亞洲電影人獎」，上年的獲獎人是梁朝偉，大會連續兩年將此項獎項頒發予香港演員；影展還會播放其主演的三部電影，包括新片《別叫我「賭神」》、《英雄本色》與《臥虎藏龍》。
