This year’s Best Actor winner Cillian Murphy wore Sauvereign for his historical moment. The bespoke HS14 Gem Brooch was designed by Bertrand Mak who took inspiration from Murphy’s character in Oppenheimer. Composed of eight concentric trapeziums, the 18K solid yellow gold brooch mimics the shape of the interior components in Oppenheimer’s invention. Its minimalistic design complements Murphy’s sharp custom Versace tuxedo that took inspiration from the Maison’s edgy ’90s creations. This is the first brooch that the actor has ever worn to a major film event. 

Past Lives’ Greta Lee continues to do no wrong as she takes cinema’s biggest night in style. She opted for a Loewe Autumn/Winter 2024 black and white silk gown, and Tiffany & Co. jewellery to pair. It’s easy elegance at its finest. 

Saving the best for last, Barbie’s iconic America Ferrera stayed true to theme and looked resplendent in a metallic pink custom Versace gown. To accessorise, she opted for a Pomellato High Jewelry necklace 1,274 hand-set princess, baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds. It might be a wrap for the Barbie saga, but this Barbie will always be an inspiration on-screen and off.
