With the holidays just around the corner, the Hong Kong stylist rounds up some of her top picks of show-stopping dresses to impactful accessories, that are guaranteed to turn heads this festive season

Victoria Tang x Saloni Fabienne Long B Dress In Light Jade

Two good friends of mine have joined creative forces in the second instalment of their collaboration. I love how Victoria injects her spirit into signature Saloni silhouettes, and there’s one dress I’m eyeing in particular- the Fabienne Long B Dress in light jade. It’s a modern take on a cheongsam and is crafted from a beautiful light jade velvet, with art deco Chinese buttons at the shoulder. I’d wear this with sky-high platforms and a big shoulder blazer for a black tie party this season.

Tony Wack Lamb Leather Shearling Aviator Jacket

Tony Wack is a new South Korean label that I’ve been following recently, and their speciality is in tailoring, jackets and outerwear. Mixing materials- thick and thin, hard and soft, is something I like to do. I’d wear this shearling jacket with a bodysuit and a lace skirt. The brand is carried by Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.

Manolo Blahnik Piera Red Wool Tartan Pom Pom Detail Pumps

I love the idea of tartans, tweeds and shearlings for accessories in the cooler months. It’s a fun way to inject winter fabrics into your wardrobe even when it’s still a bit too warm outside for coats and outerwear. These red tartan pumps from Manolo Blahnik are a great finishing touch to a tuxedo look.

Probably one of my favourite new labels for occasion wear, The New Arrivals just released a leather line in time for the holiday season. This pony hair leopard print jacket can be easily worn as a dress and needs minimal accessories — a no-brainer and easy solution for a night out.

I love styling a feminine dress or a mini dress with a chunky boot for contrast, and these Christian Dior D-Fight combat boots are the perfect shape to do just that.

Luna B is a Turkish label I came across on Instagram. Their FW24 collection, Moonlit Allure, strikes the perfect balance of retro glam for the party season. I love this burgundy off-shoulder dress with a faux fur stole attached.

Boucheron Qatre Radiant Edition Hoop Earrings

I got my 6th and 7th ear piercings this year, and I love leaving little micro hoops in them. But for the holiday season, I am thinking to amp it up a bit. I love these Boucheron Quarte earrings, and can imagine them stacking them up all on one ear for maximum impact.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin Isabella Dress In Organdy

I really admire Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s sensual approach to fashion, and he’s created some of my favourite red carpet looks lately. His latest collection included a collaboration with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, and this dress features hand-cut flowers on a sheer organdy, which is inspired by Mapplethorpe’s Orchid from 1986.

Let’s face it, just about everyone is in their Miu Miu girl era… and I am no exception. I love how this set feels like a winter prep school uniform. Just add knee-high socks and a pair of heels, and you’re set.

My good friend, Elly Lam, put me on Femme LA heels– they’re simple yet statement at the same time. I love their pointed-toe sandals. These are tried and tested- comfortable (given the height) and they even offer a bit of cushioning at the balls of the feet- great for a night out!

Nana Jacqueline Keira Velvet Minidress

Elly also got me onto the LA label Nana Jacqueline and Insta-worthy retro-inspired party pieces are the brand’s speciality. Their Keira dress proves that an LBD is anything but basic. The rhinestone details give this piece an extra sparkle.
