DAY TIME

Pen Mané Wild Coast Huggies

Pen Mané is a contemporary take on fine jewellery with a French charm. The label’s debut collection, Wild Coast, draws inspiration from the raw beauty of cliffs and coastlines of Brittany. What I love about Pen Mané pieces is that they become a part of you over time — the unique brushed matte finishing is designed to develop a polished patina over wear, truly making each piece your own.

Stella McCartney Cropped Belt Detail Trench Jacket

With the recent opening of their ifc mall boutique, Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is fresh on my mind. Topping my wishlist for SS25 is a short variation of the classic trench coat. Whether worn open or buttoned up, it’s a lightweight, spring-weather-friendly piece that can take you from day to night.

Acne Studios Orange Stacked Belts Jeans

Sometimes the combination of a t-shirt and a good pair of jeans is all it takes. These Acne Studio jeans feature a trompe l’oeil graphic print of stacked oversized belts — match it with a simple top and a pair of round-toed boots for a casual look to stroll around the fair.

Yat Pit Tin 9 Magua Riding Jacket

Designers Jason Mui and On-Ying Lai are the creative forces behind the Hong Kong label Yat Pit, and I love their modern approach to reinterpreting Chinese traditional garments. I have an oversized henley from their recent label accented with a Mandarin collar neckline that I wear endlessly. I’m also eyeing their Riding jacket, which references a Qing Dynasty Magua jacket.

New Balance X Miu Miu 530 SL Deco Calf Leather Mules

Looking to reach your daily step count at the fair? Then surely a pair of sneakers is the way to go. The Miu Miu x New Balance sneakers have been hard to get ahold of for a couple of seasons now (and rightfully so, comfort level is unmatched, and they work with just about everything), but I’ve spotted a few new colourways in-store and online. Slip into these leather mules for your next visit to the Convention Center — your feet will thank you.

Saint Laurent Khaki Suit

This Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2025 look lives rent-free in my head. I love how Vacarello pays homage to how Monsieur Saint Laurent often dressed, from the tailoring right down to the tea-tinted frames. Pair the tailored ensemble with a pointy low heel and sunglasses for a day of meetings —  nothing says serious business more like a sharp, structured suit.

Attersee The Evening Wrap

I spotted this wrap from the Attersee website after a good friend of mine was raving about her new favourite purchases from the New York City label. I did a little browsing online, and I love their concept of elevating the daily ritual of getting dressed. All things are considered: design, comfort and fabrication. I love how it’s styled over a sleeveless linen vest with matching wide-legged trousers from their website — it’s timeless, easy and effortless.

Phoebe Philo Sharp Shoulder Asymmetric Top And Trousers

Comfort is key if you plan on spending most of your day at any art fair. This sharp-shoulder asymmetrical top with matching trousers by Phoebe Philo is something striking yet uncomplicated at the same time. Pair with flat sandals and you’re good to go!

Proenza Schouler Yves Top And Skirt

Pale yellow and a Yves Klein blue is a great colour combination for warmer months — it just feels light and cheerful. And with Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez announcing they would be stepping down from Proenza Schouler, it’s the last season to pick up anything designed by the founding designers. This fringed top and skirt combo are great pieces to keep in your closet for years to come. Pair with retro-shaped sneakers or strappy sandals for a fun, fair-ready look.

AFTER DARK

Alaïa Strapless Dress In Supple Jersey

One of the most brilliant designers working right now, in my opinion, is Pieter Mulier at Alaïa. Conceptual, creative and oh, so desirable — his pieces are thoughtful and wearable, like this strapless dress in supple jersey. Keep the neckline bare to accentuate the décolletage and pair with these asymmetrical leather heels for a chic party-ready getup this week.

Rick Owens Top

Crafted from lightweight and semi-sheer silk chiffon, this cropped jacket from Rick Owens’ Spring/Summer 2025 Hollywood collection is a work of art in itself. It wraps under and over the ears and hugs the body with drapes and ruffles in the most sublime way. Wear it with a mermaid tail maxi skirt and platform boots for the ultimate Rick look.

Vintage Christian Dior 2002 Stamp Print Bustier Pants Set

On the market for something rare and vintage? Cafe Society Archives has a great collection of covetable designer pieces from the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Think: cute matching separates from Dior (circa John Galliano), a treasure trove of Alaïa (even one worn by Kylie Jenner) and John Paul Gaultier. This Dior stamp print bustier and pant set is a perfect nod to the iconic era.

Want to shop IRL? They’re having a pop-up at Confessions, 24 High Street, Sai Ying Pun until March 30, 2025.

Bottega Veneta Viscose Degrade Petal Print Dress

Final season of Bottega Veneta Matthieu Blazy? Yes, please. This soft, viscose dégradé dress with abstract petal prints in burgundy and mint tones will ensure you stand out from the crowd.

Chanel Two-Toned Mary Janes

Party-friendly heels that won’t make your ankles feel like snapping? These stacked platform Mary Janes from Chanel will be the perfect companion for a night of party hopping during Art Week. They will go equally well with a skirt set with a mini hemline or wide-legged trousers to accentuate the legs.

Christopher Esber Loop Draped Top And Swept Draped Skirt

While soft jerseys may traditionally be considered more of a daytime material, I feel this draped top and skirt’s shape works just as well for an evening out. I love how Christopher Esber drapes his designs, creating volume without making it feel heavy, and these cascades of jersey drapes amplify movement in the most beautiful way.

Armarium Evelina Slingback In Denim

The brand’s name, Armarium, is derived from the Latin word for wardrobe, and the label does exactly this—classic pieces that will live in your closet for years to come. I met the founder, Giorgia, on her recent trip to Hong Kong, and she wore these denim heels from her latest collection. The perfect pointed toe shape—slightly squared—and the heel height of 75mm make it something you can wear from day to night.
