Three Michelin-starred Mosu Seoul’s Hong Kong venture promises a culinary adventure with its ever-changing menu according to seasonal ingredients. Featured dishes on the dinner tasting menu have included a Hanwoo BLT alongside a Maesangyi seaweed soup; classics include iron pot rice dishes and galbi short ribs. Popular Korean chain BHC has made its way to Hong Kong, and it’s been a hit. ‘Banchan’ translates into ‘small side dishes’ in English; it’s an apt name for this Korean cafe-esque eatery, which serves up a variety of light meals. Banchan and Cook’s specialty has to be their omurice – a silky Instagrammable omelette on a bed of rice, accompanied by sides including beef rib stew and pork belly. Their tteokbokki rice cakes, covered in meat or carbonara sauces, and the comforting Budae Jjigae army stew ramen, are also must-tries.
