Big Sur

Choose between two takeaway choices for your Big Sur Christmas feast, with either option serving between four and eight people. Opt between a whole smoked turkey weighing no less than 4.8kg, served with sourdough gravy, cream, pork, apple and sage stuffing and plum and cranberry sauce, or a smoked, glazed Japanese Sagabuta pork collar. Both options will be served alongside grilled brussels sprouts and kale with chestnut butter and crispy bacon, honey and miso-glazed roasted heritage carrots and parsnips, smoked duck fat-roasted potatoes and cheddar and jalapeño cornbread. For dessert, indulge in a family-sized smoked apple pie with salted caramel custard alongside bite-sized pecan pies.

Yung’s Bistro

For those after something slightly less traditional this Christmas, Yung’s Bistro offers a Christmas takeaway set dinner for six with elevated Cantonese dishes. Menu highlights include the Abalone with celtuce and termite mushroom, while the roasted whole goose leg served with a charcoal stove is an ode to Yung’s Bistro’s older sibling, the iconic Yung Kee. Deep-fried Grouper fillet in sweet and sour sauce and steamed egg white with mini crab roe and rice are also noteworthy dishes on the Christmas takeaway lineup, whilst a white rabbit candy-flavoured custard jelly dessert makes for a nostalgic, sweet end to the meal.

Feather and Bone

Feather and Bone has crafted a customisable “Build-Your-Own-Christmas Bundle,” for which customers can choose between traditional turkeys, honey-glazed hams, bacon and other moreish mains to cook themselves at home, or alternatively can select from the ready-cooked centrepieces, stuffings and sides. The Feather & Bone Christmas menu will also be available via FoodPanda from the 21st to the 26th of December, where guests can enjoy quality cured meats including house-smoked brisket pastrami before the mains of roast turkey roulade with fig and cinnamon stuffing. Elevated side dishes include the ‘nduja buttered brussels sprouts and creamy mashed potatoes.

Yakinikumafia

Steak lovers will be pleased to hear about Yakinikumafia’s meat-heavy Christmas takeaway. The set dinner for four includes various cuts of beef such as Ozaki ribeye and striploin, with a selection of wagyu ranging from fatty (otoro) to medium fatty (chutoro) and lean (akami). The various cuts of steak will be served alongside fresh Goma salad, truffle salt edamame, koshihikari rice, yakiniku, egg yolk sauce, pickled cucumbers and daikon with ponzu. Yuzu IPA’s are also included in the takeaway, with the chance to receive a Chateaubriand long tee while stocks last.

Black Sheep Restaurants

Black Sheep Restaurants employs the expertise of Chef Braden Reardon of Carbone and Buenos Aires Polo Club to create the ultimate festive feast. Diners can decide between roast turkey or roast Christmas ham, served alongside a selection of traditional side dishes including roasted brussels sprouts with bacon and sage, root vegetable gratin, and parker house rolls with maple butter, with the option of either baked apple crumble with salted caramel or chocolate chestnut Bûche de Noël for dessert.

Ciao Chow offers a fuss-free takeaway turkey, for which each 6kg roasted organic turkey can be ordered individually, with cranberry sauce, gravy and traditional stuffing.
