What is your most memorable summer holiday?
That would undoubtedly be the summer of 2020. It marked my longest break, during which I enjoyed a delightful beach holiday with my family. We revelled in the coolness of the sand and spent our evenings conversing at beach bars. It was both relaxing and extraordinary.
You hail from Hunan—how often do you return in the summer? What’s your impression of summer in Changsha?
I typically return about once or twice a year. Changsha’s summers are exceedingly hot and humid, so I usually venture out only in the evenings for a leisurely stroll and to savour some late-night snacks.
What do you like to do during the summer?
I love swimming and drifting along rivers. The water is refreshingly cool and gentle, and being in it brings me a profound sense of peace. And of course, nothing beats indulging in ice-cold watermelon!
What do you generally wear on summer holidays?
I invariably opt for shorts; they are practical and effortlessly stylish.
What’s the most exciting thing you’ve done in the summer?
Camping in the great outdoors! I love enjoying the scenery, and I can gaze up at the summer sky adorned with stars at night.
