Central Hong Kong was abuzz when Korean popstar and EXO bandmember Park Chan-Yeol arrived at the launch event of Versace’s latest Cross Chainer sneaker. Taking place at the Versace flagship store, the event hosted brand fans including Feiping Chang, Antonia Li, Ashley Lam and Antonia Da Cruz who admired the spring/summer ’19 collection as well as the anticipated sneaker, which is an expansion of Versace’s “Chain Reaction” collection of men’s sneakers.

The Cross Chainer is available to both men and women, and offers a fresh take on the sneaker, featuring a bi-material sole that magnifies the chain details, and an unmissable chain-link rubber outsole. Available in a range of neon and fluorescent colours, including pink, orange, green and yellow, the sneakers are developed in a mix of neoprene, mesh and rubber, with playful braille “Power” lettering. DJ BLAZE supplied hip hop beats as guests sipped Champagne, and took photos and video gifs provided by the store.
