Milan Design Week 2025 promises a feast for the senses, and Modulnova is set to deliver a particularly delectable offering. The Art Kitchen, a groundbreaking new launch transforming the heart of the home into a truly sensory experience.
Italian aesthetics have long held art and architecture in their very DNA, a principle that resonates deeply with Modulnova. Since 1988, Dario, Giuseppe, and Carlo Presotto have steered the brand with an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation, crafting exquisite kitchens, modern living spaces, and bathrooms. Now, they unveil the “Art” system, a kitchen environment where the purity of form embraces the beauty of natural materials. The result? A design that seamlessly blends aesthetic appeal with artisanal craftsmanship. “Art” elevates the architectural spirit of the home, enhanced by thoughtful lighting design, and tailored to the desires of those who inhabit the space.
The star of the show is the exclusive Appennino Marble stoneware, meticulously reproduced for Modulnova, paired with the rich warmth of oiled Walnut wood in a Classic Walnut finish. The “Fold” door, crafted from Walnut wood with a distinctive 30° slanted profile, partially sheaths the Appennino Stoneware island, creating a captivating interplay of materials and depth.
Every detail is considered. The wood grain flows seamlessly across the doors, edges, and interior, creating a sense of enveloping uniformity. The extra-thick, 10cm worktop and the 45° joinery of the slatted side panels emphasize the island’s monolithic presence. A delicate drip-stop edge graces the worktop, adding both function and finesse.
The new Glass system features tinted glass doors with a concealed frame, offering a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. Inside the wall display unit, Classic Walnut and Appennino Stoneware shelves, along with suspended base units, appear to float, while integrated lighting accentuates the exquisite textures and veining of the materials.
