When does the Oscars 2020 start?

The awards ceremony officially starts at 8pm Pacific Standard Time on Sunday, February 9 (Monday, February 10 at 9am Hong Kong time).

Red carpet coverage typically begins two hours before the ceremony at 6pm Pacific Standard Time on Sunday, February 9 (Monday, February 10 at 7am Hong Kong time).

Where will the Oscars 2020 be hosted?

The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where the Oscars have been hosted every year since 2002.

Where can I watch the Oscars 2020 around the world?

Hong Kong will broadcast the Oscars 2020 on Pearl Channel and TVB. Those in the US can stream it on abc.com and various platforms.

Who will host the Oscars 2020?

Like last year, there will be no host for the Oscars 2020. Last year was the first time in 30 years that the Oscars went without a host after original booking Kevin Hart stepped down following a homophobic Tweet he posted nearly a decade ago resurfaced. Instead, the 2019 ceremony was helmed by guest presenters who appeared to announce each award.

Who are the Oscars 2020 nominees?

The full list of nominees was announced on January 13, 2020 with Tod Phillips’ Joker picking up the most nominations at 11, including Best Film and Best Actor. Other top contenders include Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman with 10 nominations each, followed by Little Women, Parasite, and Jojo Rabbit with 6 nominations each.
