Embrace the experience of Raffles at Galaxy Macau from the moment you touch down at the airport or arrive at the ferry pier, where you will be whisked away by their hallmark butlers in your pre-arranged limousine. From engaging in perfect conversation starters to anything you need during your stay, the butlers are as equally intuitive as they are discreet.
Whilst its counterpart, Raffles Singapore, has made its mark as an iconic architectural landmark steeped in heritage and provenance since 1887, Raffles at Galaxy Macau welcomes guests with a modern glass airbridge exterior brimming with LED lights to reflect the city’s vibrancy with interiors that ooze the brand’s heritage.
In keeping with Raffles’ storied history, its plush carpeted entry exudes an old-world charm upon arrival. While awaiting the glass-enclosed elevator, which takes you up a floor for a seamless check-in, their interactive sky feature sets the mood in accordance with the weather.
Step into the lobby where the well-crafted interiors are accentuated by Italian white Statuario marble flooring, sky-high ceilings and a laser-welded roof which bathes the space in more natural light. These luxe aesthetics along with their hero colours – burgundy and grey by the highly esteemed team at Hirsch Bedner Associates – are interwoven with artworks curated around the four seasons by artists from the East and the West. Journey through the “Ode of Art” and strike a pose against their 70-metre green wall art by the famed Hong Kong landscapers, Earthasia, amongst many other Instagram-worthy spots.
Resembling a jewellery box, the Raffles Lounge & Terrace allows you to enjoy your caviar with relish, shuck your oyster or indulge in an éclair on their iconic dessert trolley beneath a magnificent cascading chandelier. Revel in inspiring and uplifting melodies by their talented musical trio, or step out onto the terrace with a glass of champagne in hand as the sun sets.
Replete with 450 suites spanning over an array of nine room types, guests are spoilt for choice. At the heart of each suite’s living space is an exquisite fireplace cleverly juxtaposed with a 65-inch Samsung frame TV, which looks like digital wall art. Not only does the dining area boast a Chinese tea set alongside an impeccable selection of teas, the Raffles signature Singapore Sling cocktail is also available. Hit the sheets with a pillow menu including anti-allergy, memory foam, lavender and buckwheat options. That’s not all: the room also offers products from French label skincare brand Maison Caulières, designed to restore even the most burnt-out high-flyers.
Decked with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling views, the Panoramic Suites pack a punch of indulgence. To take it up a notch, the Signature Pool Suite houses a second bedroom, a 40 m2 outdoor heated pool, a jacuzzi as well as a karaoke room with over 3,000 song selections. The Presidential Suites come with even more entertainment such as a pool table.
Nestled amidst a Mediterranean-inspired garden is Belvedere – a gorgeous glasshouse structure where the chefs whip up delectable breakfasts and all-day poolside refreshments. Take a refreshing dip in the infinity pool which overlooks the Grand Resort Deck, which guests have access to as well.
With fabulous collaborations in the pipeline, Raffles at Galaxy Macau will also house a Sushi-Kappo concept restaurant helmed by three-star Michelin chef and sushi master Masaaki Miyakawa, one of only five chefs with that accolade in Japan, as well as a Teppanyaki restaurant. Designed by award-winning Joyce Wang, the renowned Long Bar is something to look forward to and will include an exciting local cocktail – the Macau Sling – to be created in collaboration with acclaimed Asia’s 50 Best Bars mixologist Antonio Lai. When the doors open, there will be a plethora to see and experience!
