For those who can’t get enough of Rosewood Hong Kong’s eclectic-luxe brand of hospitality, the five-star hotel has officially announced the opening of Rosewood Residences. Situated above the hotel property between floors 53 and 64, the Residences comprise 186 serviced apartments ranging from 581 sqft studios to one and two-bedroom apartments between 1,100 and 1,400 sqft in size.
Then there are the four penthouses on the 64th floor, each named after the view which they face: the 4,500 sqft Victoria Penthouse, which faces Central and Wan Chai; the 4,800 sqft Salisbury Penthouse, overlooking Causeway Bay and the Eastern District; the 3,800 sqft Beacon Hill Penthouse, with views of Kai Tak and Kwun Tong; and the Signal Hill Penthouse, which is oriented northwest towards Lion Rock. Equipped with everything from fully stocked private bars and pantries to oversized wine fridges and personal fitness centres, these penthouses represent the pinnacle of luxury living in the city.
Similarly astronomical is the rent, which starts from HK$57,000 and goes all the way up to an eye-watering HK$1.6 million per month. For that price, residents are matched with a personal host to help them settle in, as well as to assist with everything from after-school tutoring for children, to dog-walking and grooming. Daily housekeeping and dishwashing, grocery shopping, closet organisation, luggage storage and itemised summer and winter clothing storage services ensure that residents can live chore-free over the course of their stay.
Serving as the gathering place for the Residences, the Tony Chi-designed Club 53 boasts a 24-hour concierge, lounge areas that host community events, as well as myriad fitness facilities, from a state-of-the-art gym and a yoga studio to a heated indoor pool.
