The Spice Girls might be making headlines for their soon-to-start reunion tour, but it is the news that the Union Jack-printed double decker bus from the seminal cinema classic Spice World is now a liveable vessel for all that is truly causing us to stop right now.
Via Airbnb, the iconic bus is rentable in the Wembley area of London and can house three overnight guests. Sorry, not all five Spice Girls get a bed in this case, but the interior design does come packed with a surplus supply of ’90s-style scrunchies, girl power signage and very Instagrammable millennial pink interiors.
Needless to say, this double decker is a reinterpretation of the bus that played a central role in the 1997 film. That wonderful Tardis-like vehicle gave each Spice Girl her own area to express herself in. Baby had her swing set, Posh had her catwalk, Sporty was surrounded by workout gear, Scary’s was covered in leopard and Ginger’s was merging many shoes and furry textures.
While this iteration does bare many similarities to the OG vehicle, one thing is for certain: Victoria Beckham will not be your driver.
