Throughout the month of January up until the 12th of February, Tai Kwun’s weekly Movie Steps programme will take on the theme of “You Drive Me [Wild/Crazy]”. Each Sunday at 4pm head to the semi-outdoor Laundry Steps to catch a film from Hong Kong cinema’s golden age. The selection features seemingly overlooked works centred around love, lust and the human condition, with each week offering a film slightly older than the last. The collection begins with Tony Au’s 1991 film Au Revoir, Mon Amour featuring the legendary Anita Mui, and concludes with Pale Passion, a Shaw Brothers film from the mid 1980’s.
