The Hong Kong Ballet rendition features bravura tap dancing by local veteran Tan-ki Wong against the backdrop of Art Deco sets crafted by Tim Yip, who won the Academy Award for Best Art Direction and Costume Design for his work in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
