Transport yourself back to the roaring twenties with Hong Kong Ballet’s The Great Gatsby. Immerse yourself in the lavish opulence of the 1920s and explore the greed and darkness that lie beneath the glitz and glamour of the Jazz Age. The Hong Kong Ballet rendition features bravura tap dancing by local veteran Tan-ki Wong against the backdrop of Art Deco sets crafted by Tim Yip, who won the Academy Award for Best Art Direction and Costume Design for his work in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Make your way to Tong Chong Street Market’s Beer Festival, where you can savour over 70 beer flavours courtesy of 15 homegrown brewers who craft their drinks with local produce through sustainable practices. Notably, this year’s festival features an exclusive collaboration with local food upcycling start-up BREER, who have harvested pandan from Taikoo Place’s very own rooftop farm, The Loop at One Island East, to create a Pandan Milkshake IPA unique to the occasion.
