Hong Kong boasts one of the world’s most incredible skylines; towering skyscrapers flank both sides of the Victoria Harbour, creating a modern cityscape that buzzes with infectious energy. Fashion too, is dynamic and ever-evolving. In uniting Hong Kong supermodels Qiqi, Janet Ma, Kathy Chow, Amanda Strang, and Gaile Lok against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s iconic harbour view, we celebrate the adaptable spirit and ceaseless beauty of our city.

Hong Kong neon lights – glittering beacons deeply embedded into Hong Kong’s rich heritage. When renowned cinematographer Christopher Doyle first came to Hong Kong, he fell in love with the coloured lights that lit up the city at night, likening them to the city’s electric energy, without which Hong Kong cinema would not be the same.
Cinema is where dreams come to life. It’s where reality meets imagination, where actors and actresses transform into different characters, where audiences become entranced with the story unfolding in front of them. We brought together five Hong Kong actors – Louis Koo, Terence Lau, Will Or, Chrissie Chau and Jennifer Yu – to share their love for Hong Kong cinema and what acting means to them.

Kong Ha Wai, an establishment in Yuen Long, is a Grade III historical building in Hong Kong which been carefully maintained and preserved since it was built in the 1930s. The Hakka-style mansion boasts its original architectural features and the living setup of a traditional village house. The space emanates a unique sense of history and culture where time and space appear to have frozen – even though the building has long been emptied of its inhabitants.
There are infinite facets of Hong Kong that make up its rich culture. Music, specifically Cantonese music, is one of them that appears to transcend generations. Some of Hong Kong’s new generation of singing talent includes Hins Cheung, Terence Lam, Tyson Yoshi, Jeffrey Ngai, and Kaho Hung. We brought them together at Kong Ha Wai to offer a space for heartfelt discourse on how they found their individuality while still paying respect to those that came before them.
