Since 2016, Black pink has made history as an inseparable quartet. In 2023, they became the first Asian act to headline Coachella. The following year, they joined Spotify’s Billions Club with their hit song “How You Like That”, making them the first K-pop girl group to achieve the feat.

Ever since 2024, the four artists have kickstarted solo careers under different labels—new songs, new albums, new TV shows, and even their own labels, the girls are doing it all. As we look forward to their group reunion in their 2025 world tour, let’s take a look at the solo projects that Blackpink members have been busy working on so far.

Lisa

Blackpink’s youngest member Lisa has added CEO to her title. The Thai rapper-singer launched Lloud Co. in early 2024 for her individual projects and business ventures. Now, she’s partnered with RCA Records, the same label as SZA and Doja Cat, to release new solo music.

“Alter Ego” will be Lisa’s first solo release—a studio album dropping on February 28, 2025. The tracklist is as varied as her personal fashion style with “Rockstar” being a hiphop track and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” a romantic ballad—both of which she performed at Victoria Secret’s comeback show. Artists joining Lisa on the album include Doja Cat and Raye for “Born Again” as well as Rosalia for “New Woman”.

A multi-talented star, Lisa made her acting debut in season 3 the hit HBO series “The White Lotus”. The latest season is set in Lisa’s home country of Thailand which sees Lisa play a resort staff and health mentor for guests. New episodes drop at 10a.m. (HKT) every Monday and we can’t wait to watch the story unfold.

Jennie

‘Human Chanel’ Jennie Kim launched Odd Atelier (OA) in 2023. Taking to Instagram to make the announcement, Odd Atelier is a record label and entertainment company that creates new things that “attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected.” The singer has also been signed as a solo artist to Columbia Records who will release her songs in partnership with OA.

Jennie’s solo career has started strong with “Pretty Girl Mantra”, the lead single for her upcoming debut studio album Ruby. Set to be released on March 7, 2025, the 15-track album boasts a whole host of top-tier guest singers including Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Dominic Fike, FKJ, Kali Uchis and Doechii for “ExtraL”. While Jennie shows off her acting chops in the “Love Hangover” music video with Charles Melton, the “Zen” music video was where her love for fashion shone through. In it, she wears a custom look by Leje which was inspired by the ancient Korean kingdom Silla, as well as an array of jaw-dropping looks that attest to Jennie’s pioneering vision.

Rosé

Rosé, or endearingly known as Rosie by friends and family, has come a long way from the suburbs of Melbourne where she grew up. Now she’s a signed solo artist under Atlantic Records and management company The Black Label which is led by her longtime producer Teddy.

In October 2024, Rosé and Bruno Mars dropped the catchy tune “APT.” which has now amassed more than 1 billion views on YouTube. When the world was still obsessing over its catchy tune and dance moves, Rosé dropped an entire debut solo album that became an instant hit—it reached no.3 on the Billboard 200 charts upon debut. Inspired by her personal experiences of heartbreak, Rosie offers an unprecedentedly personal look into the superstar’s life. Starring alongside Rosé in the “number one girl” music video, Evan Mock plays Rosé’s toxic boyfriend and shares the singer’s first onscreen kiss.

Jisoo

The eldest member of the group established her own label named Blissoo in 2024. Its name combines ‘bliss’ and the artist’s name ‘Jisoo’, with the intention of “sharing the happiness that Jisoo creates”. In 2025, she went on to sign a global label deal with Warner Records to release solo music, the final of four members to sign a label deal.

Jisoo’s debut solo mini-album dropped on Valentine’s Day which is perfectly apt for its title “Amortage” which means “a montage of love”.  Its songs include “Your Love”, “Tears”, “Hugs & Kisses”, as well as “Earthquake”. The latter is accompanied by a dynamic music video featuring a cameo by South Korean actor Cha Seung-won.

While preparing for her solo debut, Jisoo was also busy filming TV dramas. In the zombie comedy Newtopia (2025), Jisoo plays an engineer striving to reunite with her ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Boyfriend On Demand (2025) sees Jisoo transform into a Webtoon producer finding love through a virtual dating stimulation called ‘Monthly Boyfriend’. Hong Kong fans are in luck as Jisoo is set to visit the city again for a fan meeting titled “Lights, Love, Action”.
