The 82nd Golden Globes gathered the most outstanding Hollywood actors and actresses for a celebration of TV and Film. “Shogun” and “Emilia Perez” were the biggest winners in the TV and Film categories respectively, each snagging four awards for the night. Meanwhile, in the fashion category, Louis Vuitton was a favourite among the best-dressed and nominated stars.
Cate Blanchett and stylist Elizabeth Stewart show yet again that repeating outfits is hardly a faux pas. Blanchett, who was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series for “Disclaimer”, rewore the gold Louis Vuitton gown she first wore to the Cannes Film Festival in May. The house’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere reworked the gown to add extra beading across the neckline.
Louis Vuitton ambassador and Best Actress nominee Zendaya stunned in a burnt orange custom gown, paired with Bulgari jewels, and “Wicked” actress Cynthia Erivo wore a gravity-defying black custom Louis Vuitton gown embellished with silver flowers.
Elsewhere, Monica Barbaro from “A Complete Unknown” wore a strapless Dior dress with a draped bodice and pleated skirt overlaid with a tulle of micro-beads and embroidery. The intricate masterpiece took 1,100 hours to complete. As for co-star Elle Fanning, she wore a custom Balmain ball gown complete with an animal-print bustier, echoing the brand’s latest pre-fall 2025 collection.
Finally, a special nod goes to Emma Watson who debuts a super chic pixie cut at the awards.
