Kaia Gerber and Miley Cyrus have found themselves the best kind of quarantine buddies: puppies. “Now is a great time to foster a puppy in need,” Gerber wrote on Instagram while sharing a snap of the seriously cute pet. “Reach out if your living/financial situation allows,” she continued, revealing that she is fostering two pups from the Labelle Foundation, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organisation. “I couldn’t separate the brothers,” she added of the tiny siblings.
While the world continues to practice social distancing by staying home in a bid to slow the spread of coronavirus, many animal shelters are asking for help – which is why she’s not the only one buddying up right now. Cyrus, who already homes several pets – including pigs, horses and a lot of dogs – has added another one to her growing brood. Even her boyfriend Cody Simpson can’t get enough of the little guy: “Baby boy Bo,” he wrote on Instagram while sharing several snaps of the dog.
Selena Gomez has also upped her own dog count, introducing her “new family member” Daisy this week. Now, her other fluffy white pup, Winnie, has a partner in crime. Taking to Instagram, she shared a video of them cuddled up in bed this morning.
While a dog isn’t just for quarantine season, it’s certainly a way to raise spirits during these turbulent times. And, just like Gerber, chilling with a pup on your sofa seems like a pretty good way to get through it all.
