Kim Kardashian West announced on Twitter that she and Kanye West have welcomed a baby boy via surrogate. He is the couple’s fourth child. “He’s here and he’s perfect,” she wrote.

News broke in January that Kim and Kanye were expecting a baby. Due to Kardashian’s battle with placenta accreta, the couple chose to use the same gestational carrier as they did with daughter Chicago.

He‘s just the latest arrival in the thriving Kardashian-West brood, which includes eldest daughter North, Saint, and Chicago. North, for one, was particularly excited about her new brother—the precocious five year old said in Vogue’s 73 Questions that she’s happy Saint will have someone to play with instead of her. “I wanna play with Chicago, that’s why,” she said.

Earlier this month, the reality television star shared a touching text sent by West. “This is your life,” he sent, along with a picture of their backyard. “Married with four kids. Get people out of jail. Cover of Vogue. Go to church every week with your family. Dreams come true.”

And now, the Kardashian-Wests are officially a family of six.
