Songstress Lana Del Rey has taken to her Instagram to announce her forthcoming poetry book, Violet Bent Backwards Over Grass. The project will be a self-published collection of poems, hand-bound by Del Rey herself and reportedly priced at just “$1 [USD]… because my thoughts are priceless,” she wrote in response to a fan in the comments.

Back in January, the singer-songwriter announced via a since-deleted Instagram post that she had finished writing the book, following up with a few preview stanzas and haikus on Instagram. “I just wanted to say any mom-and-pop SoCal/San Fran book stores that are interested in having it just let me know and I’ll drive you our a couple boxes when I’m done binding it in a few months,” Del Rey wrote in her most recent caption.

As we wait for more release details, take a look at some of Lana Del Rey’s poem samples below. Her sixth studio album Normal F***ing Rockwell is also set to release on March 29, 2019.
