She comes from a big family 

Born to billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, Nicola is one of eight children in her family. She is fifth in the family and has six brothers and one sister. Her brothers Diesel and Brad were friends with Brooklyn, which is how Nicola crossed paths with her husband!

She used to play ice hockey

Like her older brother Brad who is an ice hockey player, Nicole grew up playing the sport and even considered following in her sibling’s footsteps to become a professional. When asked about her favourite documentaries, Nicola responded with ​​The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, a miniseries that digs deep into the life of New York real estate heir Robert Durst, who was a key suspect in three murders that remain unsolved today. She shares, “I find the psychology behind the human brain insanely fascinating and what makes people do what they do” — which is why she enjoys stepping into the shoes of different characters as an actress! 

Her mum is her fashion icon

She got it from her momma! Given that Nicola is the daughter of former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, it comes as no surprise her fashion icon is her mum. The 27-year-old names Claudia her best friend and role model, and often takes to social media to share endearing snapshots of them together. 

She is set to make her directorial debut with Lola James

The actress just wrapped up her filming for Hulu true crime series Welcome To Chippendales, and she has no plans of stopping there. Nicola is set to make her debut as a writer, producer and director with the upcoming indie film Lola James. Set in 2002 America, the movie will follow 19-year-old Lola James, who works to get her little brother Arlo out of their toxic home environment while battling drug addiction. Apart from co-directing alongside Bria Vinaite, Nicola will also star in the film with Sideways Oscar nominee Virginia Madsen.
