Whether it’s on stage or on the big screen, the Korean-Australian actress has made waves with her performances, earning her the title of “rising star” from the Casting Guild of Australia in 2021. Although she’s mostly known for her television roles in “Halo” and high school drama “Bad Behaviour”, Ha has also worked on series such as the action-packed crime dramas “Reef Break” (2019) – her TV debut – and “Troppo” (2022), as well as the horror film “Sissy” (2022). She’s got multiple exciting roles ahead of her – from her casting as the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton to Young Kasha in the upcoming TV series “Dune: Prophecy”, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds in store for this talent.

Ha has expressed her support for greater diversity on the silver screen, including talents hailing from different backgrounds and Asian representation. This makes her casting as Sophie Beckett on the fourth season of Netflix’s “Bridgerton”, which has been innovative in their representation of historical figures, even more significant.

These are her hobbies

When Ha is off the clock, she enjoys painting, music and yoga to wind down. On top of that, she’s an avid fan of online fantasy game “MapleStory”, which is massively popular in Korea and has even had a collaboration with K-pop icons BTS. This gives her role as Kwan Ha in the second season of the shooter game “Halo”’s live-action adaptation an extra special touch.

She acts outside of film

Ha was a dancer in the music video for Fluir and Jesse Marantz’s pop track “I Gotta Have You”, showcasing her range of talents as a performer. She has also played Maurice in a 2019 stage adaptation of the British novel “Lord of the Flies” in Sydney; the character’s complex personality, which goes through shifts over the course of the play, is a reflection of Ha’s ability to play multifaceted roles.

In particular, Ha’s grandmother, Son Sook, is a radio show host and renowned actress, having received multiple awards for her theatre roles.

She’s acquainted with K-pop star Moonbyul

In 2022, Ha featured as a guest on MAMAMOO Moonbyul’s radio show “Studio Moon Night”, which has hosted the likes of bandmate Hwasa and K-pop legend Kim Junsu in the past. The actress introduced her role and styling in “Halo” to the MAMAMOO star, as well as her history with acting.
