Happy pre-Olympics! On the eve of the Opening Ceremony, a special prelude to the 2024 Olympics was held at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. The star-studded bash was hosted by LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, Comcast NBCUniversal chairman and CEO Brian Roberts, Grammy-winner and Louis Vuitton men’s designer Pharrell Williams, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour; Co-hosts for the night, meanwhile, included Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, Rosalía, and Omar Sy.
Before the grand soirée kicked off, however, the red carpet saw many celebrities turning up in grand style. The best-dressed stars of the night were those who went for a sense of celebration, choosing head-turning looks that matched the excitement of the upcoming Olympic games.
There were all manner of winning looks on the carpet: Zendaya, for one, commanded the spotlight in an elegant black slip dress (that made the paparazzi go wild). Rosalía embraced sheer dressing in a lace Dior maxi gown, while Charlize Theron opted for a clean and minimal white one-shouldered frock. Serena Williams went the suiting route, looking sleek and polished in a black three-piece ensemble.
As for some of the night’s best-dressed men, stars like Jeremy Allen White and Omar Sy went classic in timeless suits. Basketball pro LeBron James opted for casual-cool in a denim Louis Vuitton look, featuring its signature Damien checker print. Rapper Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, went for gold in a metallic suit.
