Blackpink’s Jennie establishes herself as a fierce solo force with a unique visual language that puts fashion at the forefront. From the music videos of her upcoming debut solo album Ruby, it’s clear that no stone has gone unturned in its making. 

Hand in hand with longtime Blackpink stylist Park Min Hee, Jennie amplifies her music through fashion. A blissful, upbeat tune like “Love Hangover” is paired with romantic Chanel tweed, while a strong, dynamic track like “ExtraL” finds its match in Schiaparelli blazers and jewellery. 

All the while, emerging designers share the spotlight with these established luxury brands. Niche pieces by designers like Carson Lovett of Lovett, and Sally Sohn of her eponymous high jewellery brand are dotted throughout the “Zen” music video.

Korean brand Leje took inspiration from the ancient Korean kingdom of Silla and its intricate accessories and creatures to create Jennie’s custom outfit. The top is handcrafted over 1,000 handcrafted metal embellishments, while the bottoms reinterpret the traditional Korean ‘Salchang Kojaengi’ with an avant-garde twist.

For her dreamy winged look, she pairs a Lamarche Lab sheer top with Lovett Spring/Summer 2025 shorts, and Sophie Webster Callista sandals. Switching it up for an edgier ensemble, Jennie wears Japanese brand Tanaka Daisuke’s bustier and beaded harness with Beijing brand Marknull’s jeans.

The choppy bob is balanced out with layers of necklaces from Sally Sohn. In another, she wears her hair long with a Tanaka Daisuke Spring 2025 headpiece, a 604 Service custom Chrome Feather Bodysuit, and Sally Sohn diamond necklaces.

Jennie changes into an Ottolinger Spring/Summer 2025 top with a Feng System Fall/ Winter 2024 skirt. Meanwhile, Sophia Webster Vanessa butterfly heels complete the floral fantasy.
