Chanel has announced that it will host a Resort 2020 show in Hong Kong on November 6, 2019 as part of the French luxury Maison’s new Cruise series.

The Chanel Resort 2020 collection, notably Virginie Viard’s first solo collection after Karl Lagerfeld, made its debut in May of this year at the Grand Palais in Paris, where guests were transported to a whimsical recreation of an old-world train station. The fantastical show will appear once more in a new setting at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on the Victoria Harbour.

This will be the first time Chanel hosts a show of this scale in Hong Kong; the last time the French Maison took its runway to Hong Kong was for the Chanel Couture Spring/Summer 2006 show at Shaw Studio.
