F is for Fendi and ‘Fendiman’ rapper Jackson Wang – the pair have joined forces once again for a limited capsule collection, featuring velvet, tone-on-tone looks emblazoned with the Maison’s iconic double-lettered insignia.
Bridging the gap between fashion and music, the ready-to-wear collection combines K-pop street culture with luxury Italian heritage and draws influences from Wang’s own effortlessly cool, comfortable style. The range of clothes, shoes and accessories brings sleek simplicity in a midnight black palette, bearing an additional ‘Fendi Team Wang’ logo for added exclusivity. Pieces include everything from sweaters and trousers to slide sandals and baseball caps, along with the debut of an official menswear leather Baguette.

As Fendi’s brand ambassador in China, the Hong Kong-born singer – also part of K-pop boy band Got7 – previously partnered with the Italian house to perform his 2018 single, ‘Fendiman’ at the Autumn/Winter 2019 menswear show back in February. Wang took to the stage once again to celebrate the official launch of the capsule in Chengdu on July 22, where a special art installation, featuring a Baguette-wearing panda named FENDIDI, was also unveiled. Translated as ‘Fendi’s little brother’, the FF-covered mascot was designed in collaboration with Chinese artist Oscar Wang, adding a playful and interactive side to the collection through downloadable emojis.
