Taking place in Las Vegas for the first time, the 64th Annual Gammy Awards gathered some of the biggest names in global music to celebrate the best of the industry.

Now three-time Grammy winner Olivia Rodrigo made a sparkling debut at the awards in a glittering black Vivienne Westwood gown. Her Gen-Z counterpart Billie Eilish also rocked up in all-black, but exuded gothic-Matrix cool instead wearing Rick Owens AW22. Meanwhile, Dua Lipa‘s vintage black Versace gown provided a stark contrast to her new platinum blonde hair, a striking beauty transformation that instantly made the pop diva the talk of the town.

No red carpet is complete without some good tailoring, and BTS brought their sartorial A-game by suiting up in monochrome Louis Vuitton, each in a different colour. The sensational South Korean septet soon channeled James Bond on stage in another series of sleek, black suits to perform a jazz-infused iteration of “Butter”, their global hit English single that made them the first K-pop act to be nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in Grammys history. Tailoring also had its moment on Finneas and Claudia Sulewski who were all loved-up in matching Gucci suits, and Lil Nas X departed from the traditional tailored cut to embrace his flamboyance in pearl-encrusted custom Balmain.

Looking pretty in pink seemed to be the unspoken fashion memo of the night with both Saweetie and Billy Porter clad in Valentino PP Pink fresh off Pierpaolo Piccioli’s AW22 runway, while St. Vincent and Chrissy Teagan made jaws drop in sweeping pink gowns, one from the iconic Gucci Love Parade collection and the other by Nicole + Felicia Couture.
