The Spring/Summer 2020 fashion crowd has traversed across the pond from New York to London for the second round of sartorial flair. As ever, London street style displays a balance of classic British dress codes— prim and proper tailoring and Burberry trench coats — and the unapologetic eclecticism from new generation designers such as Simone Rocha and Richard Quinn. Standout trends are beige suits and leather trousers and skirts, as well as animal print shoes, puffed sleeves, and bourgeois checker prints and silhouettes. There is also a return to the all-black fashion uniform, which is balanced by a strong presence of colourful knitwear and statement prints.
