Floor-to-ceiling glass windows framed with Marquinia black marble allow for a sizeable preview of the newly opened Prada store in Pacific Place. Here, black and white marble chequered floor lines the 490 square metres of space, inspired by the historic Prada store in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan.
The chequered floors are decorated with plush green and grey velvet chairs from Osvaldo Borsani, complimenting the mint-hued walls and adding a touch of luxurious elegance to an otherwise minimal arrangement. Moreover, the large wooden tables designed by Giò Ponti provide a point of focus within the spaces, while simultaneously alluding to Milanese décor from the 1950s.
Crystal glass drawers and green Corian display shelves showcase the leather goods, footwear and accessories, where the minimal décor allows the products to take centre-stage. Meanwhile, Men’s collection pieces are displayed atop metal and brushed aluminium spaces, with black and grey detailing creating a slightly more edgy and less playful atmosphere.
