We only have gratitude for Paul Mescal. With his off-duty style, the Irish heartthrob has been positively influencing the males species one short short and cropped top at a time. Ever since the actor rose to stardom through the TV adaptation of Normal People, Mescal and his characters’ style has been a wide topic of conversation — there’s literally an Instagram account dedicated to his character Connell Waldron’s chain.
The Oscar nominee has been a Gucci ambassador since 2023, starring in the brand’s campaign for the Horsebit 1953 Loafer. On multiple occasions, he’s been spotted styling the preppy shoes with straight leg denim jeans, a white t-shirt, and long white socks. A Cartier ambassador since 2022, he sports a range of the brand’s timepieces but gravitates towards the smaller models like the Cartier tank (24 by 16.5 mm) he wore to the Academy Museum Gala.
