Following months of teasers, the highly-anticipated Prada x Adidas collaboration has finally debuted, unveiling two limited-edition products: a Superstar sneaker and Bowling bag. Both arrive in a minimalist “Optic White” colourway that gives prominence to the two brands’ iconic designs. The sneaker and bag will be sold as a set and are limited to 700 editions worldwide. Each pair of sneakers will be embossed with a unique serial number at the medial ankle collar.
The Prada x Adidas Superstar sneaker features a full-grain leather upper and is made in Italy by Prada. The unisex footwear model — first released in 1969 as a basketball shoe — maintains its signature rubber shell toe, Three Stripes branding and perforated detailing, while Prada’s logo is emblazoned on the lateral quarter panel, insole, heel pull tab and tongue tab in contrast black. The adidas x Prada Bowling bag is a large version of the Italian luxury house’s iconic It-bag — which first debuted on the Prada Spring/Summer 2000 runway — and will feature an additional nylon strap to channel the functionality of an Adidas sports bag. The silhouette arrives in white calf leather with black piping and co-branding at the upper center.
The Prada x Adidas Superstar sneaker and Bowling bag collaboration will release on December 4 in select Prada and Adidas stores worldwide, as well as online at prada.com and adidas.com.
