Prada has upped the ante at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui with the opening of its Prada Thunder pop-up shop for the rest of the month of June. It carries a selection of ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories from the Italian label’s Fall/Winter 2019 men’s and women’s collections featuring exclusive prints designed by artist Jeanne Detallante that weave together gothic elements from the world of Frankenstein, such as the heart, the electric rose, and thunder. Every product will be sold in Thunder packaging exclusive to the pop-up.
The design of the pop-up riffs on this theme with the “Alternating Currents” wallpaper that combines male and female silhouettes with imagery of moorland and cliffs, while transparent tables draw parallels to a mad scientist’s laboratory. The Prada Thunder pop-up will be presented at Harbour City’s Atrium II until July 1, and at the Prada store on Canton Road from July 2 – 28.
