Following the sell-out success of Amina Muaddi’s Fenty collection, Rihanna has enlisted the maker of her favourite sass-laden heels to create four more kick-ass shoes for the house. The autumn release, entitled 11-20 in line with the Fenty drop system, comprises a pump, a sling-back and two sandals, which each reflect the Fenty DNA and Muaddi’s own feminine-meets-sculptural aesthetic.

The Corset Pump, which the brand calls “a classically sexy stiletto, designed for the female gaze”, is a surefire crowd pleaser. Featuring a point-toe and accentuated heel, the Corset Pump takes last season’s braided PVC lace technique, which winds up the ankle, to new extremes. Available in glossy Electric Blue PVC or Coco White leather with a metallic stiletto, these heels are the closest to Muaddi’s own designs, but have the thin tapered heel she created specifically for Fenty.

The Don’t be Square, a square-toed sling-back pump made from soft, rippling leather, is for the fashion fan who has been fawning over the architectural shoe trend instigated by Bottega Veneta. The Ivory model is a winter-appropriate update on Muaddi’s Fenty Meshy Mule and is best described as a boss bitch pump for day-to-night.

For the stiletto sandals, the pair gave the original Caged-In model a seasonal makeover in Electric Blue, Coco White, Jet Black and Crystal Black. Ribbon Ropes, a party heel in the making, comes in Candy Pink or Jet Black and features satin ribbons and delicate crystal-embellished straps that weave across the foot, before curling up around the ankle to the mid-calf. When clubs open, these shoes deserve to be in them.

“When I’m designing for Fenty, I think of Rihanna – she needs to like them,” Muaddi previously told Vogue about the obvious muse behind her Fenty footwear. “But in general I don’t think of a particular person, because I feel like every woman can be an Amina Muaddi woman or a Fenty woman. It’s not that I think women will like the whole collection, but I think there’s a little something for everybody.”

Similar to the first drop, the intent behind the four shiny new styles is simple: “I want to enhance the wearers’ own confidence, beauty and femininity,” explained Muaddi. “I want them to feel ready to take on the world and overcome their fears.” That sentiment has only grown more apt.

The 11-20 Amina Muaddi collection is available now at Fenty.com and from 14 November on Farfetch.com and Levelshoes.com
