Ever since her breakout role in 2001 as The Girl in My Sassy Girl, Jun Ji-Hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, has grown to become one of South Korea’s most influential celebrities. With numerous accolades under her belt, the award-winning actress and Vogue Hong Kong’s August 2023 cover star has made waves both in Korea and worldwide. Her record-breaking dramas include the iconic My Love from the Star, in which she played celebrity diva Cheon Song-yi alongside actor Kim Soo-hyun, as well as The Legend of the Blue Sea, acting opposite Lee Min-ho as the female lead, Shim Cheong. 

Aside from starring in top-grossing films and television shows, Ji-hyun is also known for her incredible selling power as one of the most in-demand celebrity endorsers in South Korea. Throughout her career, she has been linked to luxury brands such as Gucci and Alexander McQueen, and, as of September 2022,  she became the first South Korean female artist to be a global ambassador for Burberry.

Gianna’s style is best characterised as elegant but striking. On the red carpet, she often flaunts flowing gowns of various hues, from bright pinks to muted purples, styled with a pair of stiletto heels. Her signature look features a blazer or trench coat draped across her shoulders like a shawl, and she is frequently photographed holding fashionable leather tote bags for every occasion.
