Drizzly days at Copenhagen Fashion week gave us a lesson in how to stay chic in the rain. Outside the Autumn/Winter 2020 shows, bucket, wide-brimmed and felt hats, as well as head scarves provided cover while versatile outerwear — trench coats and leather jackets — optimised layering for the colder weather. There was a return to basics with a predominance of neutral colour palettes and a preference for more practical handbags such as tote bags and the Hermès Birkin. Fun was still had with pops of candy colour and coordinating shoes and bags.
