I’ve always dreamed of owning a cream coat, and the Joseph Cenda Belted Wool and Cashmere-Blend Coat feels like the one — pristine, timeless, and effortlessly chic. It would look perfect with my Dior Saddle in Toile de Jouy. On that note, the Dior 30 Montaigne Dahlia Wallet in the same toile print has officially made it to my wishlist. I’ve recently discovered Yuzefi, and their Mochi Bags in suede have me in a full-blown obsession. The blue one is my current favourite, but the new birch green shade has crept up my heart (yes, my wishlist is growing faster than my willpower). And speaking of my heart’s cravings, the Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm in ‘Crave’ feels like it was made for me. A swipe of this glossy, plumping balm is all it takes to give my lips that soft, just-bitten look—perfect for my barely-there makeup (every) days. Now, if only solving my mid-twenties thinning hair woes were as simple as swiping on a lip balm. Enter the Isamaya Sculpt 01 Face and Scalp Tool—self-explanatory, really. Let’s not rub salt onto my wounds. I would like to run away from my sorrows in style, so I naturally need a pair of new shoes, aka. the Adidas Sambas OG Earth Strata Gum sneakers. Pantone did just declare “Mocha Mousse” as the official colour of 2025, so I’m merely following instructions…

After much internal conflict, I’ve decided not to gatekeep I Don’t Do Business, a small Thai label obsessed with plaid. Forget the East-West bags of yesteryear (kidding, they’re timeless) and say hello to the brand’s Dachshund bag, a soft and spacious shoulder/crossbody bag perfect for casual, everyday use (side note: they’ve now sold out and won’t restock so you’ll have to suffer with me). Speaking of everyday, the foundation stick I’ve been using almost every working day for the last two years is discontinuing my shade so I am being forced to move on. Luckily, Clinique’s newly launched serum foundation promises to be even better. In keeping with this theme of upgrading my daily staples, I’ve been eyeing Future Classics’ Rinse Wash Type 2 denim jacket with its gorgeous front pleats and puff sleeves, a silver Chanel Coco Crush ring, and the Juntae Kim x Salomon Rx Marie-Jeanne shoes with embroidered floral details. The shoes were unveiled as an exclusive for the brand’s AW25 collection and have not technically been confirmed for sale, but a girl can dream. And now, for the piece that started it all: how2work’s Yoshitomo Nara lamp to add a touch of greenery to this serial plant killer’s bedroom.

In a bid to become an active gym girlie, I’ve set my sights on items that would help me look the part (hey, that’s the first step right?). Instagram reels brought me to the Malaysian activewear brand Terrae whose founder did an amazing job pitching their All Day Gym Bag. Its inbuilt checklist tag reminds you to pack earphones, towel, and emotional baggage (literally), while the side compartment is made for your shoes — oh hello, Sandy Liang x Salomons! Are these not the quintessential girlie pop sneakers? Improving my health includes protecting my vision, and I’m eyeing Gentle Monster’s latest Orora 02 glasses to do the job. Emulating our ultimate fitness queen Suni Lee, I’m attempting to buy the Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment before it sells out. And even though Paul Mescal is no Olympic gymnast, he is still a Gladiator and one with impeccable style. If I manage to get on the waiting list, I’ll be sporting matching hand dyed tartan by the Scottish garment designer B.W. Marks. To accessorise, perhaps Gimaguas’ Caslida Belt? I’ve heard suede and studs are the two big “S” in fashion for 2025.
