New year, new obsessions. First up is the Mini Flamenco Clutch in Spring Jade paired with the Donut Chain in Light Pear — basically a lucky talisman (which I need for the Year of the Snake). Chinese New Year calls for a pop of colour, so it’s prime time to paint my cheeks with Fwee’s Lip & Cheek Blurry Pudding Pot. It looks so bouncy and fluffy, and apparently, if you swing by their Seoul Seongsu pop-up, it even comes as a keychain. Bag charm obsession? Consider it fed. Speaking of charms, the Miu Miu Skirt Leather Keyring has been living in my head rent-free. I’m always late to trends (mini skirts, I’m looking at you), but once I’m hooked, I never let go. You know what else I’m late to? Formula 1: Drive to Survive. Naturally, the F1-inspired Puma Speedcats have been calling my name. Honestly, my track record with lateness is giving major White Rabbit energy from Alice in Wonderland. Maybe that’s why I’m gravitating towards Anissa Kermiche’s ceramic teapot set. It’s the perfect excuse to throw my own tea party like The Mad Hatter — or, let’s be real, sip Earl Grey solo from a fancy teapot while keeping my own madness at bay…

Easing off of the most heinous holiday shopping spree with a vow to be more intentional with my purchases, here’s a thoughtful list of wants that, in my opinion, qualify as personal tax write-offs. As a humble contribution to preserving soon-to-be history aka. Matthieu Blazy’s Bottega, this lover girl has her eye on matching Knot bracelets with my man—his in braided leather and mine in sterling silver. Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s Julian Bag is the perfect remedy for the decision fatigue that comes with choosing a work bag for the day, whilst Maison Margiela’s Ballerinas are criminally stylish with added podiatric benefits courtesy of its Tabi split toe—or so I like to believe. I’d also like to think that the eco-printed Daloy top from Filipino conscious clothing brand Munimuni Studio will one day be restocked, but maybe I should go outside and touch grass instead of trying to wear it. On a more serious note, I hope to reinvigorate my love for art with this lengthy title by Bianca Bosker chronicling her eye-opening journey into the contemporary art world, where she encounters billionaire collectors, curators, artists, gallerists… You Get The Picture. Finally, I complete this material feast with Jean May’s Sticky Date Pudding because at the end of the day, we all deserve a sweet treat.

Starting 2025 with sights set high, I’ve put Spinelli Kilcollin’s gold pavé trio on the top of my January wishlist…even though Createdbyill’s necklace is a more realistic reflection of how I feel — hanging by a thread. Meanwhile, Miaou’s black mesh t-shirt continues my running theme of delusion with its deceiving trompe-l’œil peach lingerie print. Catching Jonathan Anderson before he (potentially) departs Loewe, I’ve included the Spanish brand’s Mini Pebble Bucket in the gorgeous shade of ‘Water’. While that’s not something I can say I consistently drink (New Year’s resolution?), Chanel’s glossy Rogue Allure lipstick will hopefully help me perfect the illusion of hydration. The wishlist rounds up with the only necessity of all six items: a pink Logitech ergonomic mouse, because muscular strain? So 2024.
