For 2020, Vogues from all over the world are uniting around a universal theme for their September issue. A celebration of the voices determined to initiate change across the globe, the issue focuses on the concept of hope and its multifaceted interpretations worldwide. As well as spotlighting emerging new-gen talent, all 26 editions of Vogue call upon some of the most influential names in fashion, film, music and activism to shed light on their desires for the future of our planet.
With much of the world still in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a sense of optimism is more necessary than ever. As we collectively seek a positive, unifying future, hope is both part of the journey and a feeling to aspire towards. Anna Wintour, US artistic director, editor-in-chief of American Vogue and Condé Nast global content advisor, shared her thoughts on the uplifting theme in the issue’s editor’s letter: “Hope may be hard to find in a moment of crisis, but it also feels more essential than ever. It’s part of our shared humanity, a source of delight and inspiration, and keeps us focused on a brighter future.”
The covers of all 26 editions of Vogue’s Hope issues will be posted below upon release, uniting in one important conversation for Vogue’s September Hope issue.
