On December 5th, Vogue Hong Kong joined hands with NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER to present its inaugural VOGUE STYLE99, held at Plaisance, the Lai Sun Dining restaurant helmed by internationally renowned Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. Marrying culinary artistry with unbridled sophistication, the three-storey sublime space is a thrilling addition to Hong Kong’s luxury dining scene and is swathed in beautiful shades of blue to signify Chef Mauro’s love for the ocean.
Alison Loehnis, President of President of NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER and THE OUTNET, Desiree Au, Publisher of Vogue Hong Kong, Dr Peter Lam and Chef Mauro Colagreco himself raised a glass to commemorate the glamorous occasion.
The grand spectacle brought together a stellar lineup of visionaries, including architect Andre Fu, founder of Thirty30 Creative and CEO of Victoria Tang Studio Christopher Owen, Wear and FoamPod founder Nick Lau, Nelson Chow, Harris Chan, and Bonnetti founder Boné Kizuna. Also gracing the event were Philips Chairman Jonny Crockett, culinary maestro Vicky Chen, founder of Attire House Brandon Chau, and Evan Chow, vice chairman of the Hong Kong Arts Center.
A host of the city’s most stylish and influential – Elly Lam, Emily Lam Ho, Qi Qi, Kristie Lu Stout, Kathy Chow, Arthur De Villepin, Ho-Pin Tung, Hilary Tsui, Harris Chan, Alan See, Ivan Pun, Kathy Chow, Michael Lau, Alex Jiaravanont, Victoria Tang-Owen, Gareth. T, Fiona Mcleish, Novel Fergus, Feiping Chang, and Jonathan Crockett – each flaunted their fashion prowess at VOGUE STYLE99 and chatted to Vogue Hong Kong about their personal style philosophies.
Guests enjoyed an artful array of Chef Mauro Colagreco’s delicacies inspired by the remarkable flavours of the ocean, complimented by refreshing sips of Dom Perignon bubbly. It was truly a night to remember.
