Phillip Lim’s 20th anniversary Spring show celebrated community, culture and cherished memories. Intricate lace looks weaved throughout the collection, taking form in puffy-sleeve tops and sheer full-length dresses that were equally feminine and edgy. Meanwhile, patches of camouflage prints lent pieces an urban chicness.

Aligned with the title “Memories of Joy”, a touch of nostalgia shone through in the final white lace dress with black and white rosettes which have evolved from its first rendition in Lim’s 2007 seminal collection.

In the finale, Faye Wong’s cover of The Cranberries’ “Dream” filled the room, ending the show on a heartfelt note in celebration of Lim’s incredible  20 years.
