As a stylist and personal shopper, it’s important for me to stay on top of trends, and I truly love browsing and seeing what designers are creating from season to season. Finding the right pieces for my clients each season requires research and preparation ahead of time, and I tend to really dive deep into the collections at the start of each season. And as the temperature drops in the city (finally!), I’ve rounded up some of my top picks for Fall/Winter 24 — a mix of seasonal classics, fun wardrobe staples, special occasion outfits from new brands I’ve come across, and just some drool-worthy pieces from some of my favourite designers.

God’s True Cashmere Tartan Cashmere Shirt

If you have an affinity for soft, soft cashmere, then surely God’s True Cashmere has been on your radar (fun fact: actor Brad Pitt is one of the founders). They specialise in beautifully crafted cashmere overshirts (plaid, tartan, or plain patterned) that feature hand-cut gemstone buttons. I love the vintage, well-worn look of the plaid ones, especially sized up —truly the epitome of cosy chic. Joyce Boutique and MyTheresa have great selections.

Pen Mane Yellow Gold Cuff With Diamonds

A good friend of mine, Vincent Guy Raffian, just launched his own fine jewellery label, Pen Mane, in which all the pieces are made by craftsmen in Hong Kong. The cuff is a great everyday piece to wear on its own or as part of a stack. With its subtle hidden pave stones, it reminds me of the Japanese notion of Kintsugi—where little imperfections are often what makes something unique. I love the brushed gold cuff, it’s easy to wear without being too delicate.

Chanel Leather Jumpsuit

This is arguably one of the most unforgettable looks for me from the Chanel Fall/Winter 2024 fashion show. I love the shine of this calfskin leather jumpsuit and the accessories in burgundy tones. The pilot sunglasses with the red tint really just top it off so perfectly.

Saint Laurent Oversized Suit

There’s nothing I feel better in than a strong pant suit, especially with a big shoulder — I can’t really explain it. While I have several (more than I can count on my hands) black jackets on heavy rotation all year round (even in the sweltering heat…I will not budge), a rich chocolate brown one seems to be missing in my wardrobe. This oversized slouchy one from Saint Laurent with matching trousers is something I can see myself wearing over and over again.

Miu Miu Runway Sunglasses

I’ve been looking for an oversized pair of sunnies that don’t feel bulky or heavy, and these Miu Miu runway ones are it. I’m quite particular when it comes to sunglasses as I find styles from most brands not hitting right at the nose bridge. While the lens wraps around the face, the temples are thin which make them still feel light and won’t leave a mark on the nose after hours of wearing.

108 Sportif Capri Cutout Bodysuit

Activewear is a big part of my wardrobe and this is a brand I came across through Instagram. 108 Sportif is an Australian label for workout gear in sleek shapes and a clean, monochrome palette. I’m always on the lookout for pieces I can wear in the gym/at class and can layer under a jacket or an overshirt that makes me feel polished enough for grabbing a bite after or running errands. These chic and supportive bodysuits from 108 Sportive are perfect!

Phoebe Philo Khaki Leather Scarf Trench Coat

While the concept of wearing a knee-length leather coat may seem farfetched in the current climate, the news that Phoebe Philo’s direct-to-consumer website is now shipping to Hong Kong made me scroll a little harder on her site. I love the idea of layering this leather trench over a thin knit, wide-leg trousers, and sneakers for winter.

Prada Aimée Medium Suede Shoulder Bag In Cocoa Brown

There’s something so delicious about chocolate brown suede…probably because it reminds me of a warm chocolate brownie, and there’s truly nothing better. Traditionally, brown and black shouldn’t be worn together, but it’s something that I do a lot, and I think it just works in an unexpected way. I’ve been investing in lots of brown accessories for Fall/Winter, and the Prada Aimee bag is topping my bag wishlist this season. It’s a great size. Worn under the shoulder, it fits a book or an iPad in addition to your other daily essentials.

 Nike Cortez Vintage Suede Sneakers

Nothing sparks joy quite like a fresh pair of white sneakers. When it comes to sports sneakers, I tend to prefer athletic brands to designers; they’re just easier to break in and much more comfortable from the start. I had a few pairs of Nike Cortez sneakers growing up, and it’s such a full-circle moment to have another pair as an adult. I love the retro look of these, especially in the vintage suede fabric.

New Arrivals Raine In Rue Cambon Dress

Launched in Istanbul in 2020, New Arrivals by Ilkyaz Ozel is a great occasionwear label with lust-worthy dresses, gowns, and separates. They’ve also added swimwear and footwear to their assortment. I got a dress from New Arrivals a couple of seasons ago, and I love the fit and quality. This Raine dress with lace inserts and sequins has been sitting in my cart for some time, just waiting for the perfect occasion!

L’iedee Fleur Mini Dress

I often opt for midi or maxi hemlines when it comes to dressier occasions, but this floral mini dress from Australian label L’iedee is too cute to pass up. I’d style it with chunky black pointy boots for a night out.

Aotrom Vine Candle

Nothing feels better than supporting good friends’ new endeavours, and I’m dying to get my hands on Declan Chan’s new line of Aotrom scented candles! Three unique scents are included in the first drop, and they’re available at Selfridges and The Frankie Shop in Europe. Lane Crawford will be launching them next month in Hong Kong so definitely stay tuned!

Low Classic Bubble Pocket Pants

I got into parachute pants during my pregnancy, and they have somehow become a wardrobe staple that has stuck. I love the additional pocket at the lower half of these Low Classic pants. The easiest way to style these is with a body-hugging t-shirt, an oversized jacket, and sneakers.

Maria Luca Chocolate Augusta Ballet Flats

While ballet flats and Mary Janes have made a steady return to many of our shoe closets, one thing I seem to be lacking is a squared-toe flat, which we’ve been seeing more of lately. These eco-fur ballet flats from Maria Luca feature a delicate ankle chain and, again, are chocolate brown, which, might I dare say, is the new black?

Mega Jewelry Large Step Earrings

If you’ve come across Hailey Bieber or Kendall Jenner’s Instagram accounts, there’s a high chance you’ve seen pieces by Mega. Founded by their stylist, Dani Michelle, it’s a go-to label for affordable vintage-inspired jewels. I love how Dani stacks on her rings and bracelets, but what’s truest to my personal style is a big retro earring, and I have my eye on this oversized pair.

Khaite Lotus Canvas And Leather Tote

I love this Khaite bag because it’s the ultimate mum bag (pardon the lack of a better description). Canvas for ease and durability, but the leather panel and shoulder strap make it feel a little more elevated than just any shoulder bag and also give it a timeless sensibility that works across all seasons. Most days, you will see me with an oversized bag slung over my shoulder- whether I’m running errands, heading to Family Form or taking my son out for the day.

Toteme Country Cotton Jacket

Workwear has seemingly become part of fashion’s vocabulary in recent seasons and perhaps made its way into your wardrobe. A classic field jacket is one of the easiest things to wear for casual days in the cooler months. This one from Toteme is my top pick for the next season.

Leset The Margo Cream T-shirt

I have these T-shirts in four colours, and my collection is growing. Leset’s motto is “Comfortable enough to wear at home, nice enough to wear out,” which is exactly the type of clothes I wear day to day. They are great foundation pieces on which to build any look. Layer with blazers, jackets, jeans, or heels for a dressed-down yet put-together look.
