藝壇盛事 Art Central 2021 即將舉辦多個展區及全新網上平台雲集國際知名大師藝術作品

踏入五月藝術季，還有另一件藝壇盛事——Art Central，今年將繼續雲集亞洲革新畫廊的新銳菁英，同時備有嶄新的概念及展區，為傑出藝術家帶來綻放光芒的平台。

一年一度香港藝壇盛事 Art Central 宣佈回歸，有別於往常在3 月登陸中環海濱，今年順延至5 月，並移師香港會議展覽中心，與Art Basel Hong Kong 同期進行。自2015 年第一屆展會開始，Art Central 便致力雲集亞洲最具創新力的畫廊新銳菁英，展示國際藝術家的創作，為香港注入藝術氣息。從集結各地畫廊及藝術家作品到相互交流，這個藝術盛事可以說幫助鞏固了香港作為亞洲當代藝術核心的位置。

作為中西文化融合的城市，香港本就有自成一格的文化氛圍，第六屆Art Central 展會則為各個展區特設別具含義的粵語名稱：主展區「中點」意指中心點，作為場內重心展區，匯聚頂尖畫廊及世界各地藝壇菁英的創作。例如有Karin Weber Gallery、Whitestone Gallery、LEE & BAE 等畫廊精選作品；特選展區「過位」一詞源自粵劇，以演員們在舞台的走位概念，為多達三位藝術家攜手合作而設，將與「中點」主展區的藝廊並排陳列；雕塑及裝置項目「異體」，則秉承以不同形態表達同一概念的原則，專門展示大型裝置和空間藝術，不少前衛作品還融合了雕塑及新媒體藝術；另外還有個人展覽區域「獨特」，呈現新銳藝術家及知名大師的精彩作品。

在策展總監Andre Chan指導下，今年還將呈獻全新設立的商業群展展區「Here/There」，由策展人選取世界各地畫廊的作品，當中包括Artemis Fine Art、Galerie Isabel Croxatto 、Suomi Gallery 、Zemack Contemporary Art等。另外，Art Central 教育伙伴亞洲協會香港中心將帶來題為「角度」的講座，繼續深入探討藝壇議題；還有全新線上平台 Art Central Capsule，供收藏家和藝術愛好者虛擬參觀展會，不論身處何地也能隨時欣賞充滿創意的藝術。
