一年一度的康城影展即將在5月17日至28日在法國康城節慶宮舉辦，雲集全世界優秀作品、導演及演員。其中金像獎得主、法國導演 Michel Hazanavicius 翻拍自日本電影《一屍到底》的新作《Z》（法屍浪漫）即將作為開幕片，拉開今屆康城影展的序幕。
今屆頒獎禮完美落幕，最佳男主角由韓國「國民影帝」宋康昊憑《嬰兒轉運站》奪得，是繼全度妍以《密陽》奪下康城影后後第二位獲獎的韓國演員；最佳影片金棕櫚獎由瑞典導演 Ruben Östlund 執導的《傷心三角》（Triangle of Sadness，暫譯）獲得；最佳導演獎則由韓國導演朴贊郁以《分手的決心》奪得。

主視覺設計致敬《The Truman Show 》
今屆康城影展的主視覺概念源自1998年經典電影《The Truman Show》，故事的男主角 Truman 從出生就生活來由實境節目構建出來的虛擬世界，這個世界的每處角落都藏着攝影機，隨時紀錄他的一舉一動，將他的人生被當作節目播放給全球無數觀眾。電影藉此表達了真實與虛擬世界之間越來越模糊的界線，令人重新反思自己的人生。如此立意放在當下便再適合不過了，面對近年全球面臨的種種危機，康城影展希望觀眾們能如結局中的 Truman 一樣克服恐懼、擺脫束縛，最終迎接未知的、嶄新的世界。
正式競賽單元：《Armageddon Time》、是枝裕和導演作品《Broker》
正式競賽單元方面，不僅有《星際救援》James Gray導演，由影后 Cate Blanchett 及 Anne Hathaway 等星級陣容出演的歷史電影《Armageddon Time》；還包括2部來自韓國的影視作品出現在康城影展。其中IU、姜棟元、宋康昊主演的《Broker》入圍主競賽單元，這是蜚聲國際的日本導演是枝裕和繼2018年《小偷家族》後再度入圍康城影展的作品，從前期籌備到完成歷時整整7年。這部電影也是「國民妹妹」IU 首次以本名「李知恩」擔任第一女主角的長篇電影，她今次還將與作品一起，首次踏上康城影城紅地毯的舞台。電影預計在6月8日在韓國上映，目前首支預告片已經公開。

同期入圍主競賽單元的還有湯唯、朴海日主演的電影《分手的決心》（Decision to Leave），是韓國名導朴贊郁睽違6年的懸疑愛情鉅作，電影在正式入圍後首度公佈了官方海報及劇照；而導演朴贊郁更以該作品獲得今屆最佳導演獎，並是他繼2016年《下女誘罪》之後再度出戰康城影展。
《魷魚遊戲》李政宰首部導演作品 入圍午夜展映單元
此外，由《魷魚遊戲》視帝李政宰執導、好友鄭雨盛主演的諜戰動作片《Hunt》則入圍午夜展映單元。這不僅是李政宰第一部導演作品，也是他繼2010年主演電影《下女》入圍第63屆康城影展主競賽單元之後，時隔12年再參與康城影展。
非競賽單元：Tom Cruise 新作《Top Gun: Maverick》、《Elvis 貓王》
為向知名男演員 Tom Cruise 致敬，其新作《Top Gun: Maverick》將作為非競賽片在今次影展首映。另一部致敬樂壇傳奇人物「貓王」的音樂傳記電影《Elvis 貓王》亦將作為非競賽片首映，同時這部電影預計在今年6月正式上映。
