去年 11 月，由 Ridley Scott 執導，Lady Gaga、Adam Driver、Jared Leto等主演的電影《GUCCI 名門望族》(House of Gucci) 以Gucci 家族第三代繼承人 Maurizio Gucci 的真實謀殺案改編，講述他與前妻 Patrizia Reggiani 之間的愛恨情仇。不過， Gucci 家族後代卻批評電影劇情跟事實有很大差距 ⋯⋯
Aldo Gucci 的繼承人(對應電影中 Al Pacino 飾演一角)發出以下聲明：”disconcerted because, although the work claims to want to tell the true story of the family [the] film carries a narrative that is far from accurate. Gucci is a family that lives honoring the work of its ancestors, whose memory does not deserve to be disturbed to stage a film that is not true and that does not do justice to its protagonists.”

不過，家族成員將有機會收回有關指控。不久前，Variety 公佈影視製作公司 Sky Studios 將在 Gucci 家族成員支持下，開拍有關 Gucci 品牌的紀錄片和電視劇。
Variety 再補充紀錄片仍處於前期製作中，而電視劇還在初步籌備階段。製作人 Nils Hartmann 亦表示：「作品將重點放在品牌的傳奇，講述如何由一位佛羅倫斯紳士的竹節手挽袋開始，將 Gucci 品牌帶到美國，揚威國際。」
據知，意大利獨立電影製作公司 Leone Film Group 的始創人 Marco Belardi 上年已向 Sky Studios 提出製作方案，並對 Alessandro Gucci、Guccio Gucci 和 Giorgio Gucci 等選角達成共識。Marco Belardi 亦會擔任這部紀錄片的製作人，雖然導演一職還未確定由誰擔任，但 Sky Studios 明言希望可以盡快投入製作，期望影集能在 2023 年上映。
紀錄片將會是電視劇的基礎，而有關電視劇的籌備過程，Sky Studios 正與美國獨立製片公司 Wiip（曾經參與電影《東城夢魘》(Mare of Easttown) 製作）的製作人 David Flynn 商討中。
《GUCCI 名門望族》(House of Gucci) 是一齣關於野心和復仇的電影，記錄一宗冷血殘酷的謀殺案，而即將開拍的紀錄片和電視劇將講述 Gucci 家族的事業成就和其傳奇事跡等，緊張的劇情戲碼可能會減弱，但相信時裝造型必定跟與電影一樣精彩奪目。
