《22世紀殺人網絡》三部曲當年全球收超過16.2億美元（約126億港元），相隔18年，第四集《22世紀殺人網絡 復活次元》（The Matrix Resurrections）即將歸來，早前更在美國三藩市舉辦全球首映禮。男主角奇洛李維斯（Keanu Reeves）及穿上 Oscar de la Renta 黑色裙裝的女主角 Carrie-Anne Moss 帶領一眾陣容鼎盛的演員出場，Priyanka Chopra 穿上 Halpern 閃亮禮裙、Jada Pinkett Smith 以一襲鮮紅色裙裝示人，還有 Neil Patrick Harris 、Yahya Abdul-Mateen II 等，每個都氣場滿分。

2. 上映日期
華納兄弟已經證實《The Matrix》第4部已經計劃在2021年12月上映，現在香港還將跟美國同步在12月22日上映。

3. 電影名稱為《Matrix Resurrections》？
事關於今年2月份的時候電影化妝師 Shunika Terry 在 Instagram 上分享的一張圖片和stories（如今已經刪除） ，眼尖的奇洛李維斯粉絲卻因此發現了第4部的電影名稱為《Matrix Resurrections》 。這個消息的洩露導致了網上掀起大量的猜測，根據電影片名指出「復活」，讓人不禁想起死去的角色 Namely Neo 將會復活嗎？
而華納兄弟則因此做出正式回應，表示電影在目前階段還沒有名字，不過《Matrix Resurrections》似乎是個不錯的名字，因為在第3部死去的奇洛李維斯（Keanu Reeves）和 Carrie-Anne Moss分別飾演的 Namely Neo 和 Trinity 都將會回歸。

4. 電影並不是前傳？
而是在前作上映18年後的直接續集，而且演員陣容也是充斥著傳奇滿滿。除了奇洛李維斯和Carrie-Anne Moss 飾演的 Trinity 回歸之外，還有曾飾演過《Speed Racer》的 Christina Ricci 的加入， Jada Pinkett Smith 、 Lambert Wilson、Neil Patrick Harris、Priyanka Chopra,、Jessica Henwick、Jonathan Groff、Toby Onwumere、Max Riemelt、Eréndira Ibarra、Andrew Caldwell、Brian J. Smith 和 Ellen Hollman 等陣容鼎盛。
5. 藏有特別隱喻？
早前編劇兼導演 Lilly Wachowski 證實《The Matrix》是對跨性別經歷的寓言。在前三部電影上映後，Lilly Wachowski 以變性人的身份出櫃，隨後粉絲們紛紛猜測主角的旅程是否是性別轉換的隱喻。
除了洩露的電影名稱和預告片，電影保密功夫算是做到滴水不漏，但至少《The Matrix》第4部算是今年最值得期待的驚世鉅作吧！
