2005年，Marilyn Manson化上黑色煙燻眼配以深色葡萄嘴唇來到紅地毯。而去到2013年，Pharrell Williams以上下眼線的魅惑感呼感《Punk: Chaos to Couture》的主題。再於2016年，Kanye West戴上冰藍色的隱形眼鏡，把眼球的顏色提升到另一層次，跟身上以水晶刺繡而閃亮的Balmain外套相輔相成。然後Troy Sivan於2018年為展現主題《Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination》，於面部塗上大量閃粉加以金色眉妝和眼妝來呈現出主題靈魂。
好像2019年《Camp: Notes on Fashion》為主題激發出男性展現出來的女性美，Alessandro Michele的全身金屬粉紅跟Harry Styles湖水綠拼黑色指甲，突顯黑色荷葉邊的上衣。Jared Leto帶著自己的「假頭」出現，另外Darren Criss畫上華麗誇張的藍色煙燻圖形眼妝。而Michael Urie更以雌雄同體的形象出現。當中最令人驚喜的是Billy Porter的金色閃石眼妝，而且以紫羅蘭唇色加上金漆直線點綴。當然還有Ezra Miller的超現實主義，多眼的立體妝容成為經典，今次回顧Met Gala的男士妝容！
