寶寶的出生

薩塞克斯公爵哈里王子及夫人梅根王妃的第一個孩子在英國時間2019年的5月6日星期一的清晨5：26降生。孩子十分健康，重7磅3安士，是英女王第8個曾孫、英國皇位第7順位繼承人，更是英國皇室百年來的第一個混血寶寶。

由於梅根王妃和哈里王子一直將整個過程保密，因此外界包括皇室的高層對具體孩子出生的醫院並不知曉。不過，哈里王子在生產前後一直陪伴在梅根身邊，Archie終於在5月6日星期一的清晨誕生。

梅根王妃和哈利王子當時在溫莎城堡亮相時都精神飽滿，抱著安靜甜睡的兒子，兩人甜蜜對望，一家三口的場面十分溫馨。對於剛出生的寶寶，初為人母的梅根透露，孩子性情溫和，他的出生「好得像夢幻般」，「太神奇了，我擁有全世界最好的兩個男人，我真的很高興」。

哈里王子當時也向記者表示，「梅根和我今天有了一個寶寶，寶寶非常健康。 媽媽和寶寶狀況極好。 這是一個最令人驚嘆的經歷，令人難以想像。」；又說到「他看起來每天都不同，只過了兩天半，我們已在想跟他一起成長。」

英女王也十分興奮，女王前日接受加拿大前總理克祝賀時，被問到「現在有多少個曾孫」，更爽快回答「8個」，看來整個皇室都十分期待Archie的到來。

梅根的裙子深有含義

一直對於時尚頗具影響力的梅根王妃，即使重出公眾視線的產後第一套服裝的選擇也深有意義。這條雙排扣奶油色西裝裙出自Graces Wales Bonner，該設計師近年獲得了2016年的LVMH Prize以及BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund的獎項，無疑是英國的設計師新星。而更重要的是，年輕的Graces Wales Bonner也是一個混血，她的母親是英國人而父親來自牙買加，有著兩個國籍背景的梅根當然要給予支持。Graces Wales Bonner的設計與也秉承了梅根一直以來的幹練和優雅的感覺，相信通過梅根這次的宣傳與肯定，也會將其帶至世界。

Baby Sussex名字公佈

當兩人首次亮相溫莎堡的聖喬治教堂時時，一開始將孩子的姓名保密，更引來各界的猜測和期待。而皇室新成員的名字也隨後通過Instagram公之於眾：阿奇·哈里森·蒙巴頓-溫莎 （Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor）。英女王伊利沙伯二世（Queen Elizabeth II），菲臘親王（Prince Philip）及梅根的母親拉格蘭（Doria Ragland）都在場迎接了皇室新成員的到來。

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor的由來

對於寶寶命名阿奇（Archie），外界均表示這反映哈里及梅根獨特又與眾不同，切合二人性格。“Archie”的寓意是「真誠的」「勇敢的」，為「Archibald」的簡寫，由德文「erchan」及「bald」結合而成。而中間名 “Harrison”從字面意義上看便是哈里王子的兒子（son of Harry）。“Mountbatten-Windsor” 則是英國王室姓氏。
