Beyoncé 的 Netflix 真人秀《Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé 》 獲得六項艾美獎提名，包括：最佳特色（預錄）、最佳製作設計（綜藝特色）、最佳音樂指導、最佳寫作（綜藝特色）、傑出服飾（綜藝/非小說/現實）和 優秀導演（綜藝特色）獎項。《Homecoming》 於今年四月開播，不但近距離紀錄了 Queen Bee 在 2018 Coachella 音樂節上的幕後點滴，還紀錄了她從創意概念到文化運動的歷程，在 Netflix 的類別為啟發人心，可惜卻於艾美獎敗陣而回。

但Beyonce的粉絲 Beyhive 最生氣的莫過於是 James Cordon 的 《Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool》 贏了最佳特色（預錄）獎項。
其實 James Cordon 娛樂大眾的能力，觀眾亦有目共睹，除了 Carpool Karaoke ，他還擔任過 2018年的格林美獎（Grammy Awards）主持人。因為他喜歡音樂和藝術，所以在自己的 《The Late Late Show with James Corden》節目中加入很多搞笑元素，例如其中一個環節《Crosswalk the Musical》 更是邀請當紅的電影主角和一眾舞台劇演員合作，不時在不同城市的馬路演出。
而該項獎除了CBS 的 James Cordon 電視劇外，其餘提名均是 Netflix 的電視劇，可見 James Cordon 是力壓 Netflix 勝出。另外，RuPaul 的 《Drag Race》 贏了最佳服飾獎，而 《RENT》 則拿了製作設計獎。
